Ligue 1 introduces event balls for major fixtures
The Professional Football League has presented a collection of five exclusive balls for the leading clashes of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Produced by Kipsta, Decathlon’s football brand, the designs are intended for the campaign’s biggest rivalries and landmark match-ups.
Each ball retains the familiar overall design used in Ligue 1 every weekend, while adding club-specific details for the teams involved. The Marseille-Paris Saint-Germain edition features subtle motifs inspired by the OM badge and the emblem of the capital club.
The five designs, described as “Temps forts” editions, will be used for both legs of the selected fixtures. The league said the project was designed to make every special ball a visual symbol of one of the season’s defining occasions.
Supporters will see them on the pitch rather than in the shops: the collector editions will not be made available for sale.
