Monterrey’s Rayadas turned the opening match of Liga MX Femenil’s eighth Apertura round into a long night for Necaxa, sweeping to a 10-0 home victory with Lucía García among the central figures.
The Basque forward scored twice as Monterrey took command from the first phase and never released it. Diana García was credited with three goals in the scoring summary, while a multinational cast added to the margin in northern Mexico.

Necaxa goalkeeper Daniela Sánchez was beaten in the 21st minute after Diana García reacted to loose ball inside the area and lifted her finish over the keeper. Five minutes later, Brazilian defender Daiane Santos headed in from a corner to make it 2-0.
Monterrey resumed with the same authority after the interval. Lucía García created the third in the 49th minute, driving down the left before Alexandra Godínez struck the rebound from her delivery.
García then converted a penalty in the 58th minute and headed her second five minutes later from Seoposenwe’s pass. The sixth arrived in the 71st minute through another header, before Aerial Chavarin scored twice with headers in the 75th and 84th minutes.
French player Lindsey Kimberley supplied the ninth, and South African forward Seoposenwe completed the rout in added time.
The round continues on Saturday when Guadalajara travel to Tijuana. On Sunday, unbeaten leaders América, with Spain’s Irene Guerrero in their squad, host Atlas, while Pumas UNAM and Costa Rica international Priscila Chinchilla are also listed to face Atlas; Pachuca, led by Charlyn Corral, visit San Luis.
Monday closes the programme with three fixtures. Tigres meet Toluca seeking to draw alongside Monterrey in Group 1, León face Juárez FC, and Santos Laguna take on Cruz Azul.
