Major League Baseball has opened fan voting for the 2026 All-MLB Team, putting the season’s top players on one ballot regardless of league. The voting window runs through Friday, October 9, at 2 p.m. ET, with the final first-team and second-team selections set to be revealed November 11 in Las Vegas.
Fans can vote once per day at MLB.com/allmlb, while a Spanish-language ballot is available at MLB.com/todomlb. The public vote will carry the same weight as ballots cast by a panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other baseball officials.
The All-MLB Team, introduced in 2019, honors regular-season performance only. Each of the two teams will include a catcher, first baseman, second baseman, third baseman, shortstop, three outfielders without separate corner or center-field designations, a designated hitter, five starting pitchers and two relievers.
Las Vegas reveal and a crowded awards night
The 2026 All-MLB clubs will be announced during the fourth annual MLB Awards show at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. MLB Network will carry the live program, which also will present the Hank Aaron Awards, Comeback Player of the Year honors, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman Reliever of the Year awards, the Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter award, MLB Executive of the Year and additional honors.
Before the ballots begin to fill, MLB Network will air its All-MLB Team Nominee Show at 7 p.m. ET, with Adnan Virk, Jake Peavy and Steve Phillips breaking down each position. The 2026 MiLB Awards Show follows at 8 p.m. ET.
Ohtani, Soto and familiar All-MLB names return
The nominee pool includes 91 former All-Stars, with 62 players having appeared on 2026 All-Star rosters. There are 15 rookies in the field, while 65 nominees are 27 or younger. That youth group includes 49 players no older than 26, 33 who are 25 or younger, 20 age 24 or below and 10 who have not reached 24.
Forty-five nominees were born outside the 50 United States, representing nine countries and territories. The ballot also includes seven MVP winners, five Cy Young Award winners, 13 Rookie of the Year recipients, two past Reliever of the Year winners and five batting champions.
Forty-four previous All-MLB honorees are back on the ballot, including 17 players from the 2025 teams. Nine were first-team choices last year and eight made the second team. Thirteen nominees have earned the honor twice, five have done it three times and five have appeared on an All-MLB team in five seasons.
Dodgers teammates Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani join Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez and Mets outfielder Juan Soto as the five players who have already landed on an All-MLB first or second team in five different seasons.
Ohtani owns eight All-MLB selections across those five seasons. He was a first-team designated hitter and second-team starter in 2021, then switched those spots in 2022. He earned first-team recognition both as a hitter and starter in 2023, and was the first-team DH in 2024 and 2025.
Six players are chasing a third straight All-MLB nod: Arizona’s Ketel Marte, Pittsburgh’s Paul Skenes, Tarik Skubal, Soto, Philadelphia’s Zack Wheeler and Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. The nine 2025 first-team selections appearing again include Marte, Ohtani, Skenes, Skubal, Soto, Witt, Boston closer Aroldis Chapman, Philadelphia reliever Jhoan Duran and Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
