Galatasaray arrived still unbeaten in the league, but their first meeting with Salah since his summer move to Trabzonspor became a bruising evening. The 34-year-old was involved in every goal as Trabzonspor produced one of the season’s most emphatic results.

Galatasaray’s difficult night ended with Lesley Ugochukwu’s dismissal in the 85th minute. The French midfielder was sent off after catching an opponent on the knee.
A sharp start to life in Trabzon
Salah had already made a productive start to the campaign before Saturday, recording four goals and one assist. His latest display added three more goals and another assist to those numbers, while handing Galatasaray their first league defeat of the season.
Despite the heavy loss, the Istanbul club remain top of the Süper Lig for now. Their position will be tested on Sunday, when Besiktas face Amedspor.
