Napoli’s Top Three Fantasy Value Risers After Five Serie A Rounds

Napoli’s early-season story has not been written only by the names expected to carry the midfield. After five Serie A rounds, the first international break offers a useful marker: three players operating in or around the centre of the pitch have raised their fantasy-market values, reflecting opportunities taken during the opening weeks.

Billy Gilmour has made the biggest jump. The Scotland midfielder began at nine credits and has risen to 15, helped by the absences that opened space in Napoli’s midfield and by his goal against Fiorentina.

Quick facts

  • Billy Gilmour: up from 9 to 15 credits, a gain of 6.
  • Stanislav Lobotka: up from 26 to 31 credits, a gain of 5.
  • Antonio Vergara: currently valued at 25 credits after starting at 22.
  • All three Napoli rises have come from midfield or advanced midfield roles.
  • The figures cover the first five Serie A matchdays.

Stanislav Lobotka follows closely behind Gilmour in the Napoli rankings. The Slovak midfielder has moved from 26 to 31 credits after his own positive opening, which included a goal against Bologna.

Antonio Vergara completes the trio, although his path has been less straightforward. The wide player made an immediate impression against Genoa, registering both a goal and an assist on his debut.

That opening performance lifted Vergara’s value from 22 to 27 credits. Two subsequent displays judged below standard have reduced the figure to 25, leaving him still three credits above his original price.

The first pause of the campaign therefore finds Napoli with unexpected midfield contributors shaping the early picture. For a side whose opening weeks have produced notable signs from the middle of the field, Gilmour, Lobotka and Vergara have each turned match impact into a stronger standing.
