Across 18 NBA seasons, Batum posted career averages of 9.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
His final stop came in Philadelphia with the 76ers, following earlier stretches in Portland, Charlotte and with the Clippers. Batum leaves the league having carved out a long career as a rotation stabilizer rather than a volume scorer—a forward coaches could trust to move the ball, cover ground and fit beside different lineup groups.
