The Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open will bring a deep WTA 250 field to Victoria Park next month, with Diana Shnaider, Sorana Cirstea, Alexandra Eala and Jasmine Paolini leading the entries in one of the final regular-season stops before the WTA Finals.
The 32-player singles draw will be played on the outdoor hard courts of Victoria Park Tennis Stadium from Monday, Nov. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 8. Singles and doubles champions will be decided on the closing day, which also marks the start of the WTA Finals in Indian Wells.

Recent Hong Kong champions
Victoria Mboko is the reigning champion, although she has not competed since June. She captured last year’s Hong Kong title by overcoming Bucsa in a three-set final.
Shnaider lifted the trophy in the preceding edition, defeating Boulter in the championship match. Fernandez won the 2023 tournament and arrives with particularly strong recent form at this venue, having reached the semifinals in each of the past two Hong Kong editions.
A late-season hard-court stop
The Hong Kong event was first staged in 1980 and returned to the WTA calendar in 2014 after a long absence of 32 years, apart from a single 1993 edition. It will run alongside the WTA 250 Chennai Open, giving players one of the last opportunities to compete before the season-ending Finals begin.
