At the PSG Campus in Poissy, the international break is beginning to fade as Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes return in time for the first major European test of the season.
The Ligue 1 news
Luis Enrique is expected to have almost his entire Paris Saint-Germain squad available for Wednesday’s Champions League league-phase trip to Manchester City.
Dembélé returned to training on Saturday after being given time off following a demanding international window. Mendes, the Portugal left-back, reported back to the club’s training centre a day later, as planned.
The French forward, who won the Ballon d’Or, and the former Sporting defender should therefore be in contention for the meeting in northern England.
PSG will, however, be without Senny Mayulu. The young midfielder suffered a muscle injury while away with France’s under-21 side.
Next appointment in France
Paris Saint-Germain travel to face Manchester City on Wednesday, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00, in a Champions League league-phase fixture that marks their first heavyweight clash of the campaign.
