The Philadelphia Eagles have traded center Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens, sending a 2027 seventh-round pick with him in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round selection and a 2028 second-round pick.
What changed for the franchise
Jurgens leaves Philadelphia after four seasons with the club. The Eagles selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he went on to play in 62 regular-season games, including 45 starts.
The 26-year-old center earned two Pro Bowl selections during his time in Philadelphia and had become a significant part of the Eagles’ offensive line. His departure follows another major change up front: six-time Pro Bowl tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement Tuesday as he steps away to focus on his mental health.
Baltimore adds an experienced starting center after its own depth took a hit. The Ravens placed centers Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic on injured reserve last week.
The draft-pick exchange gives Philadelphia a fifth-rounder in 2027 and a second-round choice in 2028, while Baltimore receives Jurgens and Philadelphia’s seventh-round selection in 2027.
