The Rays and Phillies will take the field earlier than planned at Citizens Bank Park, with today’s first pitch shifted to 2:30 p.m. ET from the original 3:05 p.m. start.

The schedule adjustment was made because of the forecast later in the afternoon and into the evening. Moving the game ahead 35 minutes is intended to give Tampa Bay and Philadelphia the best chance to play without a weather delay.
Ballpark entry times have not changed. The Third Base and Left Field gates will open at 12:35 p.m., while every other Citizens Bank Park gate is scheduled to open at 1:35 p.m.
