Serie A’s sixth round closed with Torino taking the points at home against Udinese, leaving a disciplinary trail that will follow clubs into the next stage of the season. Three players were sent off, while three coaches were punished as the league turns towards Matchday 7.
A round marked by disciplinary decisions
- Monza defender Lucchesi was dismissed in the 35th minute after bringing down Noslin when he was the last man back.
- Roma’s Malen received a straight red card in the 53rd minute against Como. His sliding challenge on Kaiki made slight contact with the ball, but his outstretched right leg arrived late on the opponent.
- Atalanta midfielder Elmas was also shown red following a VAR review late in the match. The decision came after a dangerous challenge on Helgason’s ankle.
- Monza coach Ivan Juric was booked during his side’s meeting with Lazio.
- Cagliari coach Fabio Pisacane and Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti were both sent off after an argument at the final whistle.
