World Series Sets Rare All-Dome Stage for Baseball’s Best

The World Series brings together the top regular-season clubs from each league, putting the year’s two best records on the same October stage. It also offers an unusual shared backdrop: both teams play their home games beneath a dome.

That pairing gives the Series a controlled setting at both ballparks, with no weather delays, wind shifts or cold-night variables waiting beyond the outfield walls. The championship will instead turn on the familiar October details—starting pitching, bullpen decisions, timely hits and which club can carry its regular-season form through the final round.

With the American League and National League leaders meeting for the title, the matchup has the feel of a season-long race coming to its proper finish: the two clubs that set the pace in their own leagues now have the chance to settle it on the field.
