Brady Tkachuk sets the pace for all-around fantasy category coverage heading into 2026-27, bringing goals, volume shooting and a heavy physical game in the same package. Since 2021-22, the Florida forward has piled up 338 points, 1,509 shots and 1,196 hits, making him the only NHL player to clear 300 points, 1,000 shots and 800 hits in that stretch.
Tkachuk also joins Alex Ovechkin as the only players with at least 150 goals and 700 hits over the past five seasons. For managers in leagues that count more than scoring, that combination remains difficult to match.
Category coverage leaders
Moritz Seider follows after a breakout offensive season in Detroit. The 25-year-old posted personal bests of 10 goals, 50 assists, 60 points and 28 power-play points. Since 2023-24, no other NHL defenseman has reached Seider’s combination of 148 points, 551 hits and 573 blocked shots.
Dylan Holloway emerged as a major category contributor in St. Louis, producing 51 points in 59 games for a 0.86 points-per-game rate, second on the Blues behind regular linemate Robert Thomas. Holloway and Tkachuk were the League’s only players last season to average at least 0.80 points, 2.50 shots and 2.00 hits per game. Holloway finished at 2.75 shots and 2.19 hits per night.
Filip Forsberg carried Nashville’s offense with 75 points in 82 games, 29 even-strength goals and 246 shots, the latter total 16th in the NHL. His 40 goals were tied for 13th in the League. Forsberg was alone in reaching 75 points, 100 hits and three shots per game, finishing with 124 hits. He has recorded at least 100 hits and 225 shots in four of the past five seasons, with three 40-goal campaigns in that run.
Juraj Slafkovsky took another step forward in Montreal, setting career marks with 30 goals, 43 assists, 73 points, 15 power-play goals, 28 power-play points, 180 shots and four game-winners. The 22-year-old was the only player in the NHL last season to post at least 30 goals, 100 hits and 60 blocks, totaling 105 hits and 78 blocks.
Tom Wilson has delivered consecutive seasons of at least 30 goals and 60 points for Washington. He is the only player to register 30 goals, 100 hits and 50 blocks in each of the last two seasons. Even while appearing in 72 games in 2025-26, Wilson established career highs in average ice time at 19:28 and even-strength goals with 22. His top-six role and place on the first power-play unit give him another path to broad production.
MacKenzie Weegar’s first 19 games with the Utah Mammoth produced one goal, six assists, 29 shots, 37 hits and 32 blocks. He has reached 175 hits and 150 blocks in four of his past five seasons. Among NHL defensemen since 2021-22, Weegar ranks seventh in hits with 949, fifth in blocks with 840 and 11th in shots with 909. He is the only blue-liner in that span with at least 44 goals, 900 hits and 800 shots.
Drake Batherson set Ottawa career highs of 33 goals, 71 points in 79 games and five game-winning goals. The 28-year-old has improved his point total in each of his seven NHL seasons and owns four straight 20-goal seasons. His 26 power-play goals over the past two years rank ninth in the NHL, while his 61 power-play points are tied for 13th. Since 2022-23, Batherson is the only player with at least 109 goals, 158 assists, 267 points, 804 shots and 484 hits.
Alex Tuch arrives in Washington on an eight-year contract after recording at least 30 goals and 65 points in three of the past four seasons. The 30-year-old leads the NHL with 14 shorthanded points across the last two seasons and shares the League lead with nine shorthanded goals. Since 2023-24, his 285 blocked shots lead all forwards. During that span, he is the lone player with at least 91 goals, 227 hits, 285 blocks and 583 shots.
Porter Martone makes the list after a fast opening to his NHL career. The sixth pick of the 2025 NHL Draft recorded 15 points, including six goals, across his first 19 regular-season and playoff games. From his March 31 debut through the end of the regular season, Martone was the NHL’s only player with at least 10 points and 15 hits, collecting four goals, six assists and 16 hits in nine games. The 19-year-old is expected to open his first full season on Philadelphia’s first line and first power-play unit.
