Como’s trip away from home will be overseen by a Lithuanian refereeing team, with Donatas Rumšas appointed as referee for a match that offers Cesc Fabregas another selection decision at the start of the Serie A weekend.
Rumšas will be assisted by Radiuš and Sužiedėlis, while Valikonis has been named fourth official. The video officials will come from Spain: Soto Grado will operate VAR, with Del Cerro Grande as assistant VAR.
Fabregas weighs two Como selection plans
One possible Como shape is a 4-2-3-1, with Sanchez in goal behind a defence of Smolcic, Chalobah, Ramon and Valle. Milla and Perrone would form the midfield pair, while Diao, Baturina and Kaiki Bruno support Paz in attack.
Another projected XI also uses a 4-2-3-1 but makes several changes. Butez would start in goal, with Couto, Ramon, Chalobah and Valle across the back. Milla and Da Cunha would be positioned in midfield, behind Diao, Paz and Baturina, with Douvikas leading the line.
Van Bronckhorst’s side set for a 4-3-3
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team is expected to line up in a 4-3-3. Ernst is listed in goal, with Read, St Juste, Marmol and Lopez in defence.
Zechiel, Vanhoutte and Targhalline are projected to make up the midfield three. Hadj Moussa, Ferri and Valente would then form the attacking line.
