Jeff Van Note, the longtime Atlanta Falcons center and a six-time Pro Bowl selection, has died at the age of 80.
Van Note spent his entire 18-year NFL playing career with the Falcons, becoming one of the defining linemen in franchise history. His durability and longevity made him a central figure during the club’s early decades.
The Falcons honored Van Note with induction into the team’s Ring of Honor in 2006, recognizing a career that remains among the most accomplished by an Atlanta offensive lineman.
