In Atlanta, Giuliano Galoppo has added another important moment to his spell away from River Plate, scoring in Atlanta United’s 3-0 MLS victory over Montreal.
The Argentine midfielder, on loan from the Buenos Aires club, found the net for the second time in the league since joining the side coached by Gerardo “Tata” Martino.
Galoppo contributes to Atlanta’s playoff pursuit
Galoppo’s goal helped Atlanta United secure a clear home win over Montreal as the club continues its push to reach the MLS playoffs. The 3-0 result gives Martino’s team a timely boost in the closing stretch of the campaign.
For Galoppo, the strike is another sign of growing involvement in the United States after leaving River on loan. His second MLS goal gives Atlanta an additional scoring option from midfield at a decisive point in the season.
