Julen Guerrero Recovering at Home After Heart Attack

Julen Guerrero is recovering at home and is no longer in danger after suffering a heart attack last week, with the former Spain international now able to resume normal daily life.

Guerrero’s recovery

The 52-year-old felt unwell and was admitted to hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered a myocardial infarction.

Guerrero, capped 41 times by Spain during his playing career, has since left hospital and is resting at home. His condition is stable and he is out of danger.

Role at Estepona

The former player is currently general manager of Estepona, the Segunda RFEF club based in Malaga province.

He joined the club in December last year, and Estepona have been progressing towards the objectives set following his arrival.
