Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed was ruled out with a neck injury after leaving Sunday’s Week 2 game against the New York Jets on a stretcher, while offensive tackle Zach Bako-Bewele also exited after suffering a knee injury that required an air cast.
What changed for the franchise
Reed was injured during the first quarter when he took a hit around the head and neck area. He was attended to on the field, placed on a stretcher and quickly declared unavailable for the remainder of the game.
Bako-Bewele was carted off after injuring his knee. Medical personnel put an air cast on his leg before he left the field, and the Packers ruled him out.
Elsewhere around the league, Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell was listed as doubtful to return against the Carolina Panthers because of a groin injury. Terrell also underwent a concussion evaluation and was cleared.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was considered questionable to return against the Tennessee Titans with a stinger.
