Paris FC are set to bring in two new recruiters next week as Marco Neppe continues to build the club’s scouting structure, with a particular focus on the academy and the talent-rich Paris region.
Paris FC strengthen youth recruitment
- Omar Allel, who spent nearly a decade working at Paris Saint-Germain, was recruited by Paris FC after his departure from the French champions.
- Paris FC will also add Philippe Maïa Lopes, arriving from AS Monaco’s scouting network.
- Both men are expected to begin their new roles next week.
The arrivals underline the importance Neppe, Paris FC’s sporting director, places on identification and recruitment. Since taking up his position, he has continued to expand the club’s scouting department as Paris FC seek to sharpen their pathway for emerging players.
Knowledge of the Paris talent pool
Allel brings extensive experience from PSG, while Maïa Lopes has a strong understanding of youth football in the capital’s suburbs. Before joining Monaco, he served as technical director at Montrouge FC, one of the leading development clubs in the Île-de-France area.
For Paris FC, the move is another step in a longer-term effort to compete for the best young prospects in a region that remains one of Europe’s deepest reservoirs of football talent.
