The Phillies have set their 26-man club for Tuesday’s National League Wild Card Series opener against the Atlanta Braves, carrying a pitching-heavy group built for a short October set. Realmuto headlines the catching corps, with Marchán and Stubbs available behind him. The infield unit is Alec Bohm, Otto Kemp, Edmundo Sosa, Bryson Stott and Trea Turner.
Bryce Harper is listed among the five outfielders, joined by Justin Crawford, Bryan De La Cruz, Derek Hill and Brandon Marsh. Schwarber occupies the designated-hitter slot, leaving Philadelphia with its familiar left-handed thunder in the middle of the lineup as the Braves come to town for the opening game.
