Week 6 presents one of the most difficult bye-week tests of the 2026 NFL season, with elite fantasy producers unavailable across every major position.
Seven players ranked among the top 10 scorers at their respective positions are on bye, a group that includes the NFL’s top-ranked running back and overall fantasy scorer, the quarterbacks ranked third and fourth, wide receivers ranked fourth and 10th, and tight ends ranked third and 10th. Jahmyr Gibbs and Joe Burrow are among the notable players unavailable this week.
The defensive absences add another complication. The highest-scoring D/ST unit and the defense ranked fourth in scoring are also off, leaving managers to navigate depleted lineups at quarterback, running back, receiver, tight end and defense. With bye weeks removing so much top-end production at once, Week 6 places added importance on finding reliable replacements and sleeper options before kickoff.
