Yacine Bammou Returns to ACBB in a New Off-Pitch Role

The next chapter for Yacine Bammou will begin on Sundays at Stade Gallo. The 35-year-old forward has returned to AC Boulogne-Billancourt, the club where he played between 2010 and 2012, after deciding not to continue his career at the highest level.

A return with a role beyond the pitch

ACBB, which competes in Régional 2 and is recognised for its youth development, has brought Bammou back as more than a former player. His new position will see him serve as an ambassador, working alongside players and passing on the standards he encountered during his professional career.

  • Bammou will represent the club as an ambassador.
  • He is expected to support ACBB players and share his experience.
  • The club wants him to transmit both his personal journey and the demands of elite football.

“I am back at the club and I will see you every Sunday at Stade Gallo,” Bammou said. “We are together, come on ACBB!”

From the PSG shop to Ligue 1 and Morocco

Bammou’s route through football was far from conventional. Before reaching the professional game, he worked as a salesman in the Paris Saint-Germain club shop. He later built a career that took him through Ligue 1, Turkish football and the Moroccan national team.

The striker made seven appearances for Morocco and scored once for the national side. Across professional football, he recorded more than 350 matches and 67 goals.

His final professional stops

Before returning to Boulogne-Billancourt, Bammou’s most recent spell came with Union Touarga in Morocco. That followed a period at Dunkerque in Ligue 2, bringing a long professional journey back to the club where a previous stage of his career began.
