Rain has pushed the Yankees and Orioles into a Friday doubleheader at Yankee Stadium, with Saturday’s scheduled September 26 game called off in advance because of a forecast for sustained bad weather.

The nightcap is set for 7:05 p.m. at the earliest. Should the opener run beyond 6:35 p.m., the clubs will instead begin the second game about 30 minutes after the final out of Game 1.
It will be a full afternoon and evening in the Bronx. Stadium gates open at 2:30 p.m. for fans holding valid Friday tickets, and the first 18,000 guests will receive the scheduled Josh Hart Yankees bobblehead, presented by Delta Air Lines.
Fans are being urged to be in their seats by 3 p.m. for CC Sabathia’s number-retirement ceremony and the unveiling of his Monument Park plaque. Then comes two games against Baltimore, with the opener carrying the day’s first pitch at 4:05.
Ticket Details
Tickets dated for Saturday, September 26 will not admit fans to Friday’s single-admission doubleheader. Holders of paid Saturday tickets may exchange them online for seats to a comparable Yankees regular-season game at Yankee Stadium, subject to availability under the club’s rain-check policy. Exchanges will not be handled at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office.
Complimentary tickets and Commissioner’s Initiative for Kids tickets issued for Saturday’s postponed game cannot be used for a future date. Those tickets, including any equivalent replacements, carry no cash value or added benefits tied to paid tickets.
