Zinédine Zidane’s France will step into a new international chapter in Turkey on 25 September, with the new head coach set for a six-match Nations League schedule after naming his first squad on Friday.
The former France midfielder and World Cup-winning coach will make his debut on the touchline away to Turkey before Les Bleus travel to Belgium three days later, on 28 September.
France begin with four autumn fixtures
Zidane’s first home matches as national-team manager will follow in early October. France are due to host Italy at the Stade de France on 2 October, then welcome Belgium to the same stadium on 5 October.
The September and October window therefore contains the first four games of Zidane’s tenure, beginning with two away assignments before the return to Paris.

November closes the Nations League programme
France will complete the schedule with two November encounters. Zidane’s side travel to Milan to face Italy at the Giuseppe Meazza on 12 November.
The final match comes three days later, when Turkey visit the Stade Atlantique in Bordeaux on 15 November.
