Week 6 brought a wave of injury exits across the NFL, with the Falcons sending linebacker Kendal Daniels to a local hospital after a neck injury and the Rams losing newly signed kicker Blake Grupe to a knee injury in his first game with the club.
What changed for the franchise
Atlanta lost linebackers Divine Deablo and Daniels during its defeat against Chicago. Deablo was ruled out with an arm injury. Daniels left on a stretcher during the third quarter after hurting his neck. The Falcons said Daniels was alert and able to move his extremities before he was transported for additional testing.
The Bears, who beat Atlanta, finished without offensive lineman Jonah Jackson, who was unable to return because of a hip injury.
Baltimore receiver Rashod Bateman was ruled out with a shoulder injury in the Ravens’ loss to Cleveland. Browns safety Grant Delpit also exited that game with a concussion and did not return.

Dallas lost wide receiver KaVontae Turpin to a rib injury against Green Bay, while linebacker Dee Winters was sidelined by an ankle issue. Packers cornerback Brandon Cisse was unable to return after suffering a stinger.

Indianapolis cornerback Sauce Gardner departed the Colts’ loss to Tennessee because of a calf injury. Titans safety Tony Adams was also forced out with an ankle injury, although Tennessee held on for the win.
Kansas City right tackle Jaylon Moore entered the concussion protocol after leaving the Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Chiefs cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace was thrown out in the fourth quarter after appearing to punch a Chargers player.
The Chargers ruled out receiver Ladd McConkey and defensive back Deane Leonard, with both players sustaining concussions against Kansas City.
Los Angeles Rams kicker Blake Grupe suffered a knee injury in the opening quarter against Arizona and was ruled out. Grupe had been added earlier in the week to take the place of Harrison Mevis.
New England’s win over the Jets came with four players ruled out: receiver Romeo Doubs with a shoulder injury, guard Alijah Vera-Tucker with a hamstring injury, tackle Morgan Moses with an ankle injury and center Ben Brown with a knee injury.
New Orleans guard Cesar Ruiz did not return from a knee injury in the Saints’ win over the Giants. New York lost cornerback Greg Newsome II to a concussion and receiver Darnell Mooney to a neck injury.
Jets linebacker Kiko Mauigoa was unable to return against New England because of a thigh injury.
