Clayton McCullough will be back in the Miami dugout in 2027, with president Peter Bendix confirming the club’s commitment after a two-year stretch that marked the Marlins’ best combined win total since 2009-10.
Miami manager set to return
| Manager | Return season | Notable club mark |
|---|---|---|
| Clayton McCullough | 2027 | Best two-season win total for Miami since 2009-10 |
The decision keeps McCullough in place after he guided Miami through its strongest two-year run in the standings in more than a decade. Bendix said the manager will return for the 2027 season.
For the Marlins, it is a vote for continuity in the clubhouse. McCullough’s first two seasons produced a level of sustained winning the franchise had not reached since the 2009 and 2010 clubs.
