Tyler Shough acknowledged the New Orleans Saints left too many chances on the field after a 45-24 Monday night loss to the Atlanta Falcons dropped the club to 1-3.
The Saints quarterback said he understood the frustration from New Orleans fans following the divisional defeat, which widened the gap between the two NFC South rivals.
“We had some opportunities that we didn’t take advantage of,” Shough said after the game.
New Orleans will look to regroup after the lopsided loss and find more consistency on offense as it moves into the next week of the regular season.
